The ADULT size
comes in two types - one for right sided nasal or oral
intubation, code GVP-A(R) and one for left sided intubation,
code GVP-A(L).
The MARK 2 V-pack incorporates TWO radio-opaque tapes so doubling TAPE to FOAM linkage. This allows the use of softer more flexible urethane foam to create even greater adaptability to changing shapes within the Oro and Laryngo pharyngeal cavities.
All the convex surfaces of the V-pack , including
the groove ,should be lubricated with a water soluble gel
to allow easy positioning and removal from the throat following
the directions for use.
