The ADULT size
comes in two types - one for right sided nasal or oral
intubation, code GVP-A(R) and one for left sided intubation,
code GVP-A(L).
All V-packs are made from soft resilient polyurethane foam
to create a continuously adapting barrier to the passage
of fluids and solids into the pharynx whilst reducing the
escape of anaesthetic gases into the operating environment.
All the convex surfaces of the V-pack , including
the groove ,should be lubricated with a water soluble gel
to allow easy positioning and removal from the throat following
the directions for use provided.
